There are a lot off great videos out there that for one reason or another are shot in black and white. Just off the top of my head hear are some of my favorites (other than Kashmir's Rocket Brothers, which you already know is one of my favorites)
White Town - Your Woman
When I watch this video I can't help to be transported back to grade early high school. This one-hit-wonder is catchy if not kind of odd - and the style of the video fits with it perfectly.
Regina Spektor - Fidelity
While not in black and white, this video definitely uses the colors black and white in sharp contrast with color in a beautiful way that really compliments the song.
Fiona Apple - Across the Universe
This video is filmed in black and white to correspond with the movie Pleasantville in which it was used, and it really does a great job connecting the song with the movie.

COMMENTS I'm totally not cool and hip. I had never heard Regina Spektor before...she has a Dido-esque voice. I like it. How about a freaking update?!?! I got the Regina Spektor disc and it is money. Kind of a Suzanne Vega/Tori Amos hybrid |
